Diesel Fuel and Clothing

Any tips on getting the smell of #2 out of clothing?

Had a small incident last week and now the woman is pissed because after 5 wash cycles everything including the washing machine smells like diesel fuel, fine by me but she isn't amused. And she is demanding a new washing machine.

Just take a lighter to it. Clothes soaked with diesel burn rather well...

She thinks I'm nutty enough as it is without having to prove it by going Howard Hughes on her.

I love the smell myself, but if you must I would try regular old dawn dish soap, I get covered in grease, oil, diesel, and everything else in between and it gets dang near all of it out and no oder in the washin machine.

Cola, Dawn Dish Washing Soap, Oxi Clean, Simply Green... all work good on oil and grease. It should not be staying around that long though.
