The dealer needs to do a forced Regen. You can try and take it out and run it for 45 mins @ 55 MPH with the RPMS up. Downshift a gear if needed.

Not familiar with the edge but I imagine you can program back to stock. Take to dealer after........ Welcome to the 6.7.............. The next thing you can expect, if it is full, is a sudden loss of power. The truck will not be able to get out of its own way and you'll need to call for a tow.
Just got rid of mine. First dodge in 15 yrs to ever get towed (3X) and went through about 10k worth of new warranty parts. Turbos, dpf, egr, cat etc...
Dodges new flash (July) seems to take care of the dpf problem. At the same time it will crush your mpg. I have a feeling it is constantly pushing fuel to the dpf for a continuous burn. Just a thought.

Good luck because besides the constant emission problems it seemed to be a great truck especially the 6sp auto trans.

Ya if that message came up your too late to do the drive thing....it needs a manual regen....find someone close to you that has a superchip or pmt and you can force it into regen yourself.

ok I took it for a drive and got it to regen on its own had it on 5th gear it automaticly went into regen in process and gave me 90% full drove it for a while till it went away and now system says ok on overhead console will this keep happening or was it just cause i floored it today went to the attitude record and i got the rpms close to 3,000 and @ 69 mph did that cause this

that will keep happening to you. it is not because you floored it. it is because the edge is dumping the fuel to the motor in return produces tons of soot which clogs the dpf instantly.

They are stock.

But, if mod them, you can't keep the smile off your face.

You would be amazed at the amount of pressure and smoke the dpf is holding in!! Not to mention when u turn the edge up to level 5. I just took my dpf off 5 days ago and wow! the amount of smoke when you get on it hard is unreal!!
