with my smarty set on #9 i have seen 1500 deg. but normal driving never as high as 800-900 deg. trans temp when driving normal somtimes as high as 200 deg. however thats in 95 deg weather in north ga. pulling my 5th wheel, i saw 240 deg on trans temp. again in 95 plus temps coming back from florida. anyway this some of my temps hope this helps others.

my trans temp gauge reads about 140 when moving slow and falls down when going faster. but i got temp probe that clamps to the side of the line. for me to install it in the test port above the pan do i need an adapter to extend it out some?
