There is some confusion on the VP HO and SO trucks.
ALL VP autos from 98-02 are SO
ALL VP 5 speed trucks 98-02 are SO
99 and 2000 six speed trucks are SO
01 and 02 six speed are HO

Not sure on the CALI models in those years

Depends - is the Edge a EZ or a wire tap fueling box(Comp or Juice)?

Assuming all is tuned in, if it is a EZ, then around 350hp and 750 tq. If it is a comp (or juice) then about 450 hp and 900 tq.

theres nothin like a clean second gen...cant beat um IMO. Get a proper lift pump and get a stick if your gona be puttin mods on it and have fun!

yeah thanks. a manual is a must. the plan is.............if i get a 2nd gen, i'll put the normal exhaust, intake, chip, plus a turbo and injectors. if i get a CR, i'll just stick with the exhaust, intake, and chip. thats the plans but who knows. i know diesel power is addicting........

i like it, but im kind of biased. and 2nd gens are a dying breed aftermarket wise.
