Alright guys I have a 2002 Cummins. It has a Diablo Power Puck Chip along with 4 inch exhaust and intake. The problem is, when I start it no matter if its cold or warm out... I will sputter when you hit the throttle and have no power at all! and I blows masive amounts of blue smoke! I was guessing maybe bad rings or blowen turbo? i have no idea, I never really worked on a deisel before!
PLEASE HELP!
Thank you!

If the smoke clears up and the truck runs normally when warm, I'd suspect the IAT sensor first. I have seen a failing VP44 do the same thing. If it was a ring or turbo problem, you'd be blowing blue smoke all the time.

Where in PA? Mid state here..
