My uncle works conventions and gave me over 30 gallong jugs of it , will it be safe to run in my fuel or stear clear ?? If its bad to run is it because its synthetic???
As long as its rated as tcw-3 ash less you can use it with out any problems. Duluth Diesel adds Amsoil synthetic 2 cycle oil to his 2002 an has not had any problems in doing so for over a year now. The you can't burn synthetic 2 cycle oil is an old wives tale that never seems to die.
It's synthetic engine oils that's not recommended to burn in your fuel.
Personnally I would not run 2-stroke oil in a 2003 and newer CP3 CR engine. Really no need to as they are built to use ULSD.
