I'm 15 and wanted to get a diesel as my first car. Was thinkin about the previous generation ram cummins, but I can't afford diesel (around 4.20 a gallon+ near me). So do any of you guys have any experience with waste veggie oil? Free gas would be pretty cool. Any comments, like/dislikes, or anywhere I can go read about it would be appreciated. And where are some good places I could buy one from? Thanks.
I guess I got all the pieces now... But I don't got the time to do it right.
Try to get your high school's Ag department to let you set up shop and share veggie with them. I almost had that going at my school, until the auto shop teacher threw a hissy fit that I went over his head...
But yeah, it works great after you get the systems in place. The '94-98 engines have the best injection pumps for it (the P-pumps), but the VE's on '89-93 work fine too if you can't afford a newer truck.
