Clutch Hydraulics

As I've said a dozen times, I am replacing my automatic with an nv4500.

I bought the whole works from a guy to do the swap. He's going to send me everything I could possibly need. I'm worried about the master/slave assembly. I've heard trying to reuse them is a waste of time and it's best to just buy new. Is there truth to this?

If I should buy new, would I be best with just stock part or should I buy the heavy duty one from Valair.

I haven't decided if I will use the clutch he's sending (its pretty new, but stock material) or just do the Valair now. I think it would last a good while with no more than I've done to the truck yet. Would there be a problem with the heavy duty master/slave and a stock clutch?

I was told my clutch piston-linkage needed to be changed, 200$ for a new one, wasn't the problem, so I have a good one if someone wants to buy it.Yote
