Do you mean hour meter for engine??
If so, turn the key into the on position then push and hold the trip button on you speedometer. The total hours of engine running will display after about 4 secs.
does anyone use the hour meter instead of the odometer to change their oil? IIRC, when I had my Freightshaker with the MB/Detroit motor, the oil change interval was 200 hours, per the owner's manual.
I'm @ about 1,5xx miles and 54 hours, just trying to plan/guage my first oil change.
The thing with big equipment is they usally run hard or right to the govener for there working hrs. My trucks idles alot and sits at lights, or even driving in town is more like an idle. So going by the miles is better. I put on average 14hrs per fill. If I'm on a trip that goes way down to like 4-6 hrs depending where I'm driving.
