Im getting a lot of mixed opinions from manufacturers on the next step on my '00 3500 dually. Was hoping for a little hands on advise. I currently have ARP head studs, injectors rated between 180-200hp(custom built),ATS exhaust manifold with a Super B 57mm turbo, 4 inch straight through exhaust, and a Colant cold air intake. Fuel is supplied via a FASS fuel pump, and a 5x5 Edge box, which I can only use on setting 1, subfueling setting 1. Ive got gauges to monitor all the basics(egt, boost, trans temp), oh yeah...Ive gone through 4 trannies(auto), and I think Im ok there(for now).
My problem is egt's. I can bury my gauge (1500max) by looking at my throttle, making it impossible to utilize even a portion of the fuel going to the injection pump. So....my question for you....now what? Intercooler....larger turbo....more turbos?
