Pros and com of a intank or frame rall mount ,why i had to take my new truck back to the dealer it is a 04 and i had a cater out side the tank pump and thay are putting a intank in. With is the best my truck is stok for now.?????????????????????????
neither...i'de go aftermarket and look into a Airdog or even a FASS....
But i heard on a 3g you can take the stock pump (think the intank)....and crank it up some...i'm sure a 3g guy will be here soon

Your '04 probly has the filter mounted pump. JUNK. Very prone to failing. In tank is the factory fix for the filter mounted version. You could just do a frame mount and save the hassle of tearing into the tank. I'm getting ready to do the BD frame mount kit on my '03 to eliminate the filter mounted pump.
