For the most part: just change the oils and filters as needed. You can go with factory recommended intervals or whatever you feel comfortable with. If a guy wants to go longer between engine oil changes, he can always use oil analysis to help decide how long his oil is good for.
Depending on which model year you have, there may be other specific needs on maintenance. Fill in your signature and we may be able to give you more specific info.
Congrats on your new truck, and enjoy!

Yes they all are the same pan, gasket, and filter! I just purchased a Mag-Hytec Double Deep pan for mine and their part number is for a 727 pan. These new trannies share a lot with the old 'bullet proof' 727!
Good luck with your install and let us know how it goes....

Thanks! I have been trying..... Of course, the new BlackBerry phone helps. I will have to watch it. It says the post failed; but, it does in fact post. That is how I wound up with duplicates yesterday. I just thought it was poor cell service....
I remember when I started out; all those questions! I was grateful when someone took the time to answer. I don't know very much; but, I do a lot of reading! It is good to be able to pass along info to others......

I think there was a thread somewhere here about using a 33 ohm resistor on a wire to accomplish this. I can't remember where it was located..... I'll yell if I can find it!

badasscatman,
apparently I don't have the new blackberry phone working correctly.... somehow I missed your post. I will have to PM you and get particulars. It doesn't look too good for me though: I have been blowing through thousands of dollars lately..... Oh, why couldn't I have been born a billionare?
