Talking 2003 cummins

hi guys i am new to this site and i am already adicted. just figured out how to post a new thread and i am ready to gain alittle knowledge. i previously had a totally stock 93 that i beat the living sh&t out of and it would never stop. so when it came time to get another truck it had to be a cummins. i bought an 03 HO cummins with the awsome 6 speed a month ago and it is even hard for me to get out of it i love it so much. i would like it if you guys would tell me everything about an 03. what is diff about 04.5, is the horespower and torque 305/555, what problems do people have (already need ball joints), how long between oil changes, like the edge juice with attitude is it a good choice of programer for a truck used for everything random i am a carpenter and sometimes tow with it i would like to run it at the track and i use it to go get my groceries. any feed back will be appreciated

Congrats on the 03. The only issues I have had was u-joints. It should be the HO which is the 305/555. Before going synthetic, I changed the oil every 3000 miles.

congrats...

hey man i have an 04 305/555 same motor as yours and im the same as you about not wanting to get out of it , before you buy an edge man read up on the smarty thats what im going with, a lot more pros than the edge you cna go to their site and download different settings for different turbos and injectors or just spice up the factory ones but if i was you the first thing to buy is a clutch... cause thge stockers wont hold much over stock...
