i hate to say that i dont agree with you on the dt 466 being a better motor than the 5.9 or 6.7 from the intertrashonals that we have at work the dt466 are the biggest problem for us. we never do any work on our cummins or macks but we are always working on the intertrashonals. also something else i noticed about the dt466's is that they are the most gutless motors i have ever driven. just my $.02

We've got a few dump trucks from the "old days" with none turbo v-8 diesels. Biggest turds I've ever driven

what hp andtq are ur dt 466 prob 185 500 drive a 265 650 it will walk a 5.9 or 6.7 in a hill the major thing is that u can rebuild a dt in frame u cant do that with a cummins i love cummins but ive sceen a dt 466 at 450 hp 1500 tq and its got coffee cans for shoes not 20 oz bottles
