Project overload.. Ram 2500 with a sneeker hidden wheel lift

Alright guys, got some money now its time to play again.. Ive been wanting to put a auto-loading wheel lift under my old dodge for 2 years now and i finally found one..
I buy quite a few cars and im getting tired of pulling my poor 18" through the city streets where most of the cars come from...

I found a guy that bought a brand new 7500.00 lift and had it installed in a 02 F350 powerstroke with 165,000 and never got to use it because the truck quit running on him on his way back from Texas where they build the wheel lifts.. It was brand new never used. all the straps and arms were stillin the shipping boxs..
I seen it on craigslist for 4000.00 being sold as-is for truck and lift because he thought the engine was blown up. I called him and went to indy to check it out.
I being the master of the powerstroke as i am i broke out the scanner and seen that the CPS had no signal. Keeping my mouth shut i offered him 3K cash and he jumped on it.
I honestly didn't care if the ford would run or not as the lift was worth twice as much as i paid for the truck. Well, after i payed him and took the title i went down to napa and bought a new CPS and put it on the truck fired right up. Should have seen the guys face with me driving it out of his drive way with my Honda on the back..
I felt bad but this guy was rich and very y so my feeling evened out
The Poor SRW truck could barely hold up the 700Lb lift let alone a car on the back.. For a 1ton it had 4 springs with no over loads.. My dodge has 1ton springs with 5000Lb overload automatic air bags.

I took the junk powerstroke ( run good though for now ) home and took the bed off And i dont know how many of you has tried to get a 8" bed off by your self with out messing it up but it was interesting with the straps and the good old Honda atv winch.. to get to the wheel lift under the bed bolted to the frame. I took all the wiring and the electric over hydro pump that works it. All of the the in cab controls so i wouldn't have to buy a thing.

I carefully unbolted everything witch is had when you have a perfect torch 10 feet away from you.

I got it out and getting ready to get the bed off the dodge..

Yes i know i will have to beef up my frame around the springs and under the cab... That where the virgin 7/16" 12" frame rails that project Tonka had left over come in.. One ran down both sides of the frame from the rear to where the frame goes back to full box right under the front doors. I'm not just patching here and there. it should make it bullet proof.. Ill bolt them on and weld them also.. Ill take that fancy miller plasma cutter and trim the excess to match the shape pf the factory frame.. I reda that the main weak part is where the cab and bed come together is the only real spot.. But ill go over board sense this is project overload...
As said above i already have 5000Lb auto overloads with on board air compressor..

Anyone have any one suggestions here? rear axle is a dana 80 already..

as i have had air components fail of freeze i went here for a set of H.D. springs 1994 - 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 / 3500 rear leaf springs, 8 leaves, 4000 lbs capacity: General Spring offers leaf springs, coil springs, lift kits, leveling kits
and a back up cam would be handy
good luck with the project
