I am all for lowering the cost to drive the trucks that we all love, though isnt this the same way that a water torch works? And excess water vapor passing through the turbo dosent sound like a good idea, even if the HHO injection yeilded higher MPG's in the long run would it offset the cost of a turbo POSSIBLY seizing up and the cost of the kit to install? And for those of you that have done this do you have any pictures of where you mounted everything?

I have looked at every HHO post. The bottom line is their is a lot of opinions ,but no One can give us the facts. The people selling the kits have not run A dodge on this stuff , but will be happy to sell you a kit or plans ! I think we should drop the subject till one of us actualy use a system. and give the name of the kit used and the results of the use of the kit. Not I have a buddy that......... |

Don't those things need bottled water to run? That in itself can be expensive?

No I'm not selling anything just passing on information. Loaded I haven't had any consistant results. I have changed my designs lots of times so far and will continue to untill I think I have the results that are worth while and consistant. I do agree there are lots of scams or miss information out there.

well to get you thinking if you do not like the idea of getting or making a HHO generator the same thing is CNG gas and easier to use and there are stations to fill you CNG gas is the gas that is pumped to your house and you can get a in home refuel the cost depends on how high you pay for natural gas run to your home...it could cost you .02 cents a gallon ( CNG is sold by the pound ) to .70-1.25 a gallon and the tanks are in 3000lbs and in 3600lbs ....the 3600lbs is best for a larger Eng like a diesel the reason why I brought this up is the local city's around me use the dumps to get there gas ( Hydrogen the same thing a HHO gen makes ) you can make a HHO generator for less than 25 bucks in price and encase it in steel or Plexiglas ( plain plastic will melt ) glass plastic sewer pipe and other things will cause problems but the the whole story is that you can find a good tank from ebay but make sure it is still certified and you use a regulator that uses the heater water line to heat the fuel from liquid to gas...and it is best to put the regulator as close to the tank as you can get it..high pressure line is expensive and also more likely to get damaged while heater tubing is cheap and low pressure and a few feet is not much to run so for the ones using HHO and CNG you are using the same thing ....but the CNG you do not have to have computers , voltage, mixing problems and has a proven 70 mpg at 75 mph pulling a 6000lbd load up hills .the faster you go the better the milage..so is you are running at 55 you get 35 mpg I have HHO gas and the part to go to CNG I find the HHO does work fine but the most I can get is about 40 mpg so the CNG with the injectors, lots of air, big exhaust 5" , my p7100 pump gone over and the trans and torque converter has to be changed and modified to get as high as 150mpg .... Ford put out a prototype Eng running CNG and got 3000 mpg but who want to drive in a car that holds 2 ppl and gets to a whopping 50mph going down a hill runs at 35mph on the flat land..it was made to run around a town and have water as exhaust but again both are hydrogen also Hydrogen is corrosive so make your exhaust SS and when you change injectors ( recommended ) make sure they are the hardened ones made for racing and for those that have a new 6.7 with the PDF you can get the of road kit to remove the exhaust and change your computer and get better millage and power and your exhaust will be cleaner than what it was putting out ....but unless they check your undercarriage to see if you have it all hooked up for inspection in states that were I live have to get a sticker you will not be caught |

I read about this hho generator, did a lot of research. I made my own system out of three mason jars, stainless steel bolts and washers. It draws about 20 amps when warmed up. I installed it in the bed of the truck, in side a battery box. Ran a 3/8 id hose in the base of the air cleaner. I get about 4 MPG improvement empty. There a lot better systems out there than mine. But it does work.
