Will it hurt to mix transmission parts?

Will it hurt my truck at all to mix transmission parts from different manufacturers? I was planning on running Monster Pump Mike's converter, input, and output shafts and I had a Suncoast Master Rebuild kit with all the small billet internal parts from back when I first originally bought the truck but from talking to a few people and Mike himself he told me the best thing to do is to just drop him off the trans and let him do everything and use all his parts. I was also considering getting a Suncoast valve body because I can get one for a decent price right now. Will the truck/trans itself shift/act differently from running a Suncoast valvebody and internal parts and Mike's other parts than compared to running all Suncoast parts or all Mike's parts? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Please do not rag on me for choosing Mike to do my work. I know his customer service can lag at times but I know him as he is local and easy for me to get ahold of if something would happen.

As long as the parts were made for that model transmission, not at all. That is the best way to "get what you want" vs take what you get.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I just wasn't sure if different companies made their valvebodies to work best with their converters and likewise with other parts. Thanks!
