Cold weather diesel ?

I did a search and and read several topics on fuel additives.

Now I'd like to hear what everyone uses in their trucks and the good & bad points of it. I am starting to think about cold weather setting in soon here in the Northeast and want to be sure I'm ready for it. I just got my truck mid last winter and just dumped in some wal-mart diesel anti gel stuff.

What should I use for best anti gel & fuel dryer ?
Should I use some kind of lube additive too ?

Thanks

I dont usually use anything. If I happen to hear the forecast and it sounds obnoxiously cold, I will pick up some anti gel. If I buy it I usually get whatever is on sale on the truck stop. I have never had problems with my truck not starting, and it has seen some pretty cold temps without anti gell, and sometimes without even being plugged in.
