I wnt to get the soilenoid kit to keep front end unlocked (97 vintage) while in low range. Can someone help me contact Bob Verhoff or someone else who offers a similar kit! Thanks in advance! memtb
Bob's 2 lo kit works great. Easy install. Get the bracket he makes to mount the switch on shifter. Has a couple of colors I think. Wonder how I got along without for so long. Tom:thumbsup
The TDR link didn't work... as for the 2LO setup, I wouldn't reccomend the USdieselparts kit. I had it for a while and I think that the solenoid worked for about a month and a half and then crapped out on me. It's not very fun when you're in the middle of the mud already and find out that that damn thing is keeping your 4wd from locking in.... Needless to say, that solenoid found the trash barrel really quick and I went back to stock. It was nice while it worked though.

Pacbrake has a solinoid for this set up, but in my estimation its expensive.
I went cheap!!!! Went to a pet store bought a gang valve/on and off like a ball valve for the air lines and run two small tubes in to the cab, attached them to vaccuum source on the firewall and run them into the cab and attach them to the barbs and walla, two low. Turn off the vacuum before you shift the transfer case. Be carefull you are working with TWICE the torque as normal in this operation.
Draw back is there is no light activation, and you must turn the vaccuum back on when done. Works fine on mine. had it for a couple years.
