anyone have experience with the banks big hoss chip on a 24HO? i understand that there is a black box as well as a red box. black box is permenantly programmed for 1 of 5 levels and the red box is programmable 1 of 3 levels? am i correct on this? has anyone else had experience with this chip?

Personally i would rather spend my money on an Edge box much more power. When you buy a banks you pretty much just buy the name, but thats just what I have heard/read

that is why i was asking, i currently have the black box on my truck and it says "level 5" and it hardly seems like any kind of level 5, just wondering rather or not anyone else has experienced this. i am actually thinking about trading it off for a juice w/ attitude, or a comp box.

Ya I think its just banks is kind of rated really. I would go with and Edge you could also look at the Smarty or Quad Commander box only heard good things about them.

I bought the big hoss single level chip and wanted to vomit the first time i drove my truck with it.. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!! I sold it turned around and bought a used EZ same "claimed" horse power and there is no comparison...Edge has a much better product... by the way i bought the ez used for less then half the cost of the banks chip... Check out the classifed ads and talk to some of the sponsors... Jason with DieselNut Motorsports is the MAN i would talk to him

I wouldn't spend my money there - go with an Edge Juice with Attitude or a simple Drag Comp. :thumbsup
