The force from the air in the tennis ball will pop the lock open. You have to hit the lock (key slot) really hard. If you get it right it works everytime!

You really don't have to hit it very hard. Just put the hole over the key slot and push really quick.

yep it works. i keep a tennis ball ready to go in my tool box. But it has to be the kind of locks with the verticle lock thing that stick up and always hit your elbow (not sure of the technical term)

Please explain how that works. What does the compressed air do? The lock mechanism works this way: when you insert the key, the cuts in the key align the tumblers within, which allows the cylinder to turn freely. The cylinder is attached to an arm connected to the lock at the latch. Turning the cylinder moves the arm, which in turn locks/unlocks the door. Blowing compressed air into the cylinder doesn't do any of that.

Get a coat hanger and make a big check mark with it. It needs to be kind of a big check mark since the door glass goes 4 to 5 inches below the sill. Get some sort of wedge thin enough to go between the glass and the weather strip at the base of the window. Once the wedge is in there, put the coat hanger in the door sideways and then twist it towards the pop up lock. Lift up gently and you will pop up your lock. Dodges are very easy to get into. I can get into one in under 5 seconds. Mods,,,please delete this if it's too much info.
Fletch
P.S.=Be careful putting the wedge in. You could break the glass. You want just enough gap to put the hanger in. Use at own risk.
