Where'd everything behind me go? And why is this black cloud following mer?

So I get on the hwy earlier (getting on it pretty hard ~40psi or so ) and everything is fine.

I merge into the right lane. I decided to move over to the middle land so I give it a little more gas and nothing. Truck has no power what so ever.. So I look to my right to pull on to the shoulder and I can't see anything behind me. I mean NOTHING...

Anyways, long story short - Pop'd an intake boot off - Pyro peaked at 1800º according to my adrenaline

It took it a good 3-4 minutes (maybe longer) of idling for the temp to come down to a more reasonable number.

I'm so glad I didn't have one of Austin's finest behind me. Last thing I need is an excessive exhaust ticket

You guys think I cooked anything?

I think it will be fine. Those older 12 and 24'vs can hold up to a lot more heat then the newer common rails... Your turbo musta been crying though. Haha

Ay! I said that completely backwards. Above two posts are right. I meant to say common rails can hold their temps a lot better than the older 12 and 24v motors.... I really gotta proofread before I say stuff.....

I also speak my mind instead of keeping it to myself.... Doesn't help me sometimes in front of pretty girls !
