Error code P 2509

I searched this site to find that this particular error code is: CM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent.

What does this mean exactly? Is the truck computer not getting the steady voltage necessary? Has anyone else had this issue, and if so what was the remedy?

Thanks for any help!

That is a new one on me. That does sound like it is a poor power supply condition though. Have you tried clearing it and seeing if it comes back? Maybe try wiggling wires around and see if there is a loose one? I don't know, just throwing suggestions out there for you.

I just started getting this code as well, 05 3500 with brand new batteries and clean terminals (greased) and I'm still pulling this code and the motor idles poorly. Where is the ECM plug p(s) so I can unplug a few times to see if its a poor connection?
