The "DPF" is the Desiel Prarticulate Filter. New on the 6.7 CUMMINS 07.5. Deleting it is just ordering a kit that bypasses all the lines and sensors and replaces the filter with a piece of pipe.
do you mean dpf????the diesel particle filter that is on all new trucks and robs power???? if not then just forget my post but i think thats what you mean....its just like a muffler well actually like a high tec cat.......
It catches all the soot from your exhaust and traps it then when it gets full it sends a message to the computer and the engine injects fuel on the exhaust stroke to burn all the soot out of the dpf which gives you the crappy mileage everyone complains about.
as far as ive heard they are...i think in the 08 or 09 duramaxs.....im not sure that the 08's do but i think i read in diesel power mag that the 09's are suppposed too....
