I am going to clay bar my truck, in about 10 mins. Wanted to check on how to do it....
I spray the liquid they give you (quick wax or whatever) on the body in about a 2'x2' area at a time, and than clay bar that area. I then wipe it clean and move to the next 2'x2' area. Is this right?? And then I follow up with some wax (I got meguires).
I've never clay barred my truck. I have my Camaro plenty of times but I'd be scared to see what comes off my truck. Yours does look awful shiny though!
Oh man when you touch the paint its Smooth as can be!
And thanks!
EDIT: And I know what you mean man, I had to do multiple areas multiple times because it was so bad!! It could still use some more clay baring on the hood, fenders and roof though. But a LOT better than before!!
I had some overspray from a painter at a jobsite and it took me 8 hours with a clay bar!! It did the job though.
Anybody got some icy hot for sale? LOL
