Just Like The Title Says, How Often Do You Trade, Sell, Your Vehicles??? Im Buying And Selling Cars And Trucks All The Time. I Like To Try Out Different Vehicles Alot, Cars ,trucks, Atvs, bikes, You Name It. My Wife Could Kill Me Sometimes, But I Seem To Get Bored After I Have Something For A While...how About You!!!!
i seem to get board after 6 months with a car, i just dont have the finances to always buy like u, wish i did, but i got a 06 cr and ill b stickin with that for a while
so far since ive been 16 ive gotten a new car ever year. this truck might actually be the longest truck ive had. my first truck was a lease, the 2nd i totalled, and this is going good so far. (knock on wood)
The Finances Are The Reason My Wife Gets Mad. We Both Make Good Money, And We Dont Have Kids So That Helps. But Always Trading Is Not A Good Way To Save Money. Taxes, Insurance, License Plates, All That Junk. But I Always Know Im Gonna Have A Vehicle Payment So I Just Keep My Eyes Out For The Next Thing.
well since ive been 16 ive only had two trucks.got my first one when i was 16 and my second just this october, im 23 now. i kinda get attached to my vehicle. plus im too poor to buy new ones all the time
If its a good vehicle I keep em as long as I can. I had one truck for 8 years and I have had the below one for 10 and plan on keeping it for a lot longer. Maybe forever cause I dont wont to mess with that new emissions krap. Plus its still working and looking like new.
I drive it till it brakes then I fix it, drive it till it brakes then fix it, and keep doing this until everything falls apart and can't be fixed, then I still keep it as a "fixer-uper" "play truck". I get to attached to my trucks.
I tend to hang on to my trucks longer than anything, but I tend to go through cars about once every 4-6 months. Now that I don't have a big garage to store or work on things in that makes keepin a racecar or project car around pretty hard.
6 to 7 years, this one I might keep longer because of all the new pollution requirements, but I like those new 2010s, they might change my mind in about 3 to 4 yrs.
I buy new, drive them till they die or I don't need them then park them in my boneyard.
Not worth trading in and sometimes I haul them out and use again.
Just pulled my '82 Toyota PU with 300k out of the boneyard and started driving it again.
For short trips I like it better than the Cummins.
Trying to change that trend. The worst part is, I often modify my vehicles ALOT. Usually right abou the time they are getting to where I want them to be mod wise, I dump them for a new project. Lost way too much $ like that to even think about...well it hurts to think about it.
I'm very indecisive. Wish me luck, headed to the chicago auto show this weekend, wifey needs new wheels!
I'm 23 and I have had about 12 cars/trucks. I always look for a good deal and if i sell i usually make money. I have wanted to keep some of the cars I had but its hard to turn down a profit. I have a jeep xj for wheelin that i got it high school and plan on keeping it. I want to see how many miles i can put on my 12v but it will probably be up for sale at some point.
booost, that is what i do too. i enjoy modding my toys, but then i move to the next project. and having a lack of garage space means something has to go to get something new.
I tend to keep them until they are so far gone they are no longer fixable. I still have a '95 Saturn I purchased new that now has nearly 300k on it and still gets 30 mpg in town.

It's just a matter of proper maintenance really. I have six saturns, and two of them are now parts cars (one was totalled, and the other is a 94 with over 350k, and had some other issues making it not worth fixing), but the other four are still running faithfully.

I goin to drive my truck until it dies than rebuild and go again. sorry posting problem
