53 is a block that was produced that has a common weak spot on it. There should be a 53 stamped on your block some where (not sure where though, sorry) but they are common for cracking. The easiest fix that I know of is buy a new motor or block. Sorry for the bad news.

i read somewhere if it has less than 150000 miles chrysler will replace the block. not 100% about that but might be worth checking
