compound turbos?

how many people are running a compound turbo setup here and what kind of boost are you running?

I am!! I am pegging the 100psi boost guage and figure its only around 105-110psi as my drive pressure is just under 100psi and at around 85psi drive pressure I am seeing just a hair over 95psi of boost.

around 70 psi of boost and around 70-80 drive pressure

nice, Ive always liked the compound turbo setups. Now, after how much boost do you generally have to upgrade the internals? and what about things like headbolts, and hardpipes etc? Also, I calculated that at 70+ psi of boost, the outlet temp of the air is close 300 degrees celsius. Are you guys also using water to air intercoolers ?

how do the flow rates work with compounds? you cant just add the flow rates of both turbos together right?

and do regular tbolt clamps work at these high boost pressures, or are constant tension spring loaded ones needed?

you would think you needed vband connections for over 70psi.
anyone have a sound clip of one?
