Any love for the 47RE? (Thanks for the draw straw by the way. Hope to get it installed this weekend. Fittings already installed and worked fine too.)

1999 2500 4x4 Club Cab Sport. ADRENALINE/pulse , BHAF, FBD 150 sticks, full set of gauges, FP light, Holley Blue pump, 1/2" big line kit, Draw straw, 3" glasspack, TC lockup switch, Stealth VP plate, Heated WVO setup, poor man's 'pane setup, BD TC, BD VB, Billet input, Derale pan.
Parts to come: turbo and bigger exhaust, both seriously needed now!

47RE's are beautiful ! less computer control and when armed with 48 planets the thing is rock friggin solid.

Is a valve body something a moderate mechanic can install my self? I want a vb and tourque converter. pm me some prices also....

well anyone got an old 47re laying around they wanna get rid of? we could mix and match parts from my 48re and build a nice trans

Stay with all 48re parts. Many 47re guys upgrade to 48re parts, so why downgrade?
