The NEW 94-02 2nd Gen Cold Air Intakes are in STOCK and Shipping. Larger filter and new Cold Box design is Looking REAL GOOD.

Yes, it uses a larger filter.

The Guys at S&B were getting too many comments about the physical dimensions of the element even though it had the filtration and flow needed.

It looks like the tube is diffrent also. So does the kit flow better than the last one?

from the results available on their website, it appears to be flowing close to 10% more air at the OEM Rated CFM Flow of the 5.9L 24V

I didnt see any comparison from there old kit to there new one. How much better does the new one flow? I dont rember what the #'s were for there old kit. Maby S&B will chime in and give us the scoop on the new kit.

They did not compare them.....

But if the Old CAI was 40.2% better than OEM and the New CAI is 49.1% better than OEM, you should be able to divide the old by new and come up with an increase of 18.13% of flow based on the ISO test results

what's up mopar man ,its dom. Sb filters hooked me up with an upgrade.
When i first purchased the setup back in the begining of 06 they gave me a model that i felt was n't so great........
.....they ended up coming out with the newer one for my truck and ended up get'n the new version to me.
what a bunch of great guys.........
