It launched real hard (much harder than I expected at 15psi) then tried to wheel hop. Then the dreaded loud BANG!

Well Wally, I misdiagnosed that one. Intermediate shaft this time.

well that's why you cant have nice things do all of the bolt holes on the adapter plate still have threads? i mean all of the times the tranny has been in and out of that thing?

We only use half of the bolts each time, and rotate the bolt sequence each install.
Makes for quicker R&R, along with less wear on the threaded holes.
