1month to dyno!

hey guys, any one know of a dyno event or even a dyno that i could jump on, i'm gettin ready to head to an island in alaska and i woudlnt be able to get on one for 3 years, i just want an idea of what i'm puten down. thanks

BOWZ havent heard from you in a long time. I too would like to find a dyno event but until we find one why dont you try to make some other events? This Saturday night there is a NHRDA race at Moroso. I will be racing my truck maybe you could make that. Also the following two Saturdays there is a pull. April 26th there is a truck show in Sarasota then we are going to the pulls at Desoto(Bradenton) 20 minutes away. Stock diesels pull early now no more late nights . Hope to see you at one.

hey mike! how u been? have you still been hookin? ya i know i havn't been to any more truck pulls sence that first one, i got married and my better half has talked to out of pulling untill i get a truck just for it. i'm gettin ready to zig zag 6k across country with it on my way to alaska this coming may. and i dont' need to break any thing right now haha. it makes sence, but it sucks. also i woudlnt be able to compete in the stock class, i found out that my turbo isn't stock at all... and i need a dang boost gage cause my attitude woudlnt read above 39 psi. don't wanna blow a head gasket... realy wish i could find the previous ower and see what else he has done to the truck, studs or fire rings and what clutch and turbo are in it.

and the drags, haha ya with this 6sp and 37's i'm better off bring out my ferd escort haha. so untill then i'm limiting myself to a dyno. i do wish i had time to come out and see ya all pull aleast 1 more time.

You can tell if you have head studs just by looking. Same with the turbo Holset is stock.

ya, buddies 5.9's i can read holset clear as day, this has nuttin on it, it looks just like a htt 62. and what would i be looking for on the head studs?

I will have to post a picture hard to describe but I will try. Stock you will see the top of a bolt. Head studs you will see a nut on a treaded bolt. Just look in front and down the passenger side of the black plastic valve cover on the head.

I know of some dynos here in the orlando area but nothing in your area. Their is a guy that travels around to events with dyno you might want to see if he ever comes to your area.

found this i just found this page, looks like orlando might be worth it. i want to get it dyno'd before i go to alaska for 3 years and have no idea. do you know what a shop would charge for 1 run?
