What did you change on your truck to run Bio? I have been interested in running it too, just never did any research on it.

I have been working on a lot of 2nd gens with friends. We've done the usual intake, exhaust, turbos, injectors, programmers, lifts, and some custom components. These trucks are very easy to work on. But trannies are a completely different animal. You really want to take it to someone that does them for a living, and really knows how to build one that will last behind these engines.

hey, just a heads-up. i did end up taking my 97 auto-truck to Tim Moye. his shop isnt at the US41/Dale Mabry split just before 54. he relocated further south down 41 several miles, on the west side of the road. theres a small European car lot and a BBQ/propane retailer next to his shop.

apparently, my New gov solenoid and pressure sensor were clogged up and causing my truck to not shift properly. he thinks they were clogged up with clutch material from the TC and/or the 1/2 shift band. also, the 1/2 shift band had started to unravel and there were complete strands of the band laying in the pan... full rebuild, extra clutches, steel accumulators, new apply lever, big single disc, worked VB all coming. the truch should be ready in a day or two! ill let you know how it goes.

for the record "Junior" (Tim moye) is an awesome guy. very personable, very descriptive and very helpful. he gave me lots of options, scenarios and a couple recommendations based on my mod/performance level. cant wait to go get this thing!

Clearwater checking in here. I would be interested in the biodiesel too. My buddy that works for Cummins told me that you should run about 50% reg diesel and 50% bio.
