flubyux2,

I am in Holiday, and there are a few shops on 19 in new port richey that are doing some of the diesel stuff. Ill have to get there numbers tommorow and ill shot you a PM. I have been to the one on 60 if it is the one i am thinking of. Between 19 and mcmullin booth, they do about anything there. Pretty good guys too I ran in there friday to check it out. There is another diesel shop on 275 in Tampa I stoped in a while ago and they are a full Cummings dealer. Ill have to track the number down for them to. If you need any help working on it let me know. I can lend a hand if you need it.

Rob

i actually have a spare set sitting around. send me a pm with an offer or something. they arent mint condition; they had those ram-head tail light covers on them so there is some double-sided tape left on them but they are otherwise intact and working order. also, rob... if you talk to anyone about our trucks, id like to find a place that can do a decent tranny build for diesel-oriented applications.. most tranny shops around here dont know the difference between a gasser and diesel tranny... let me know if you get directed to anyone in our area.

Im in Riverview just south of tampa/brandon. The tranny shop you want to use in Tampa is Tim Moye. They are a Suncoast Dealer and can get you fixed up right from mild upgrades to fully built trannies.

Tim Moye trans.

Lutz, Fl.
Ph. 813-909-8337

I have been working on a lot of 2nd gens with friends. We've done the usual intake, exhaust, turbos, injectors, programmers, lifts, and some custom components. These trucks are very easy to work on. But trannies are a completely different animal. You really want to take it to someone that does them for a living, and really knows how to build one that will last behind these engines.

Guy's in the Tampa area, is there a good dealership here?
with good CTD techs that know what they are doing and of course a reasonable service manager.

Please dont say Brandon dodge ( I think now its called courtesy dodge).

Actually Brandon Dodge has a very good CTD tech. His name is Robert. Ask for him by name. I do not like dealing with any dealership and the service dept at Brandon Dodge has always sucked. Luckily I know Robert through a friend and just talk to him directly!

Do any of you run bio diesel? Where do you get it? I get mine from Aztech on Busch Blvd and 275, but they always out of it lately.

Josh, this is quite coincidental as one of my good fabricator-friends mentioned that his dad took his dodge to a great tranny mechanic and stood behind his work. i asked my friend to get more info from his dad and he came back and said "tim moye in Lutz or land o lakes". i googled it and it says his shop is just south of the US-41/Dale mabry hwy junction. im gonna call him tomo and see what kinda prices im lookin at to get my tranny built.
