Is Winter Haven a good place to meet?
Hey everybody. Hope all is well. Not sure if anyone would have any interest in having a gathering in Winter Haven (about half way between Tampa and Orlando)...or not. I own the Cici's Pizza in Winter Haven. We're in a Wal-Mart shopping center: good lighting and plenty of space. We have a large parking area that was recently re-surfaced when they completely remodeled the Wal-Mart about 6 months ago. Quiet and its ours so we won't get kicked out like some teenagers. Unless we want. I have marked off a 1/4 mile section and put up some lights. Just kidding. Thoughts? bob

Who Says?
Who said no beer? The Wal-Mart liquor store shares a wall with me. We have the technology! And a cooler, too. ![]() Just throwing out the location. If anyone wants to run with a date preference, just loop me in and I will make sure we clean up the parking lot so we can tell which beer cans are ours. Any time or day is fine with me. I can make a bunch of pizzas for us or BBQ...either way ![]() rbeckner@cicispizza.com if anyone needs to contact me or 941 445 2631

I am not thinking of this instead of anything, just another opportunity to get together. Assuming we have guys from all over, Winter Haven is pretty centralized. There's also a Beef O Brady's sports bar across the street where we can eat, if you'd prefer. The owner's a good guy...even if he doesn't drive a CTD.

Yeah, I think thats a pretty central location, and it sounds like it has the right combination of space, food and booze, i have only like two weekends till back to work at sea for 2 months...i would be happy to help send out some emails to expidite the process to get it early in march.
