I have a locked ECM, if I unplug the EGR will it leave a record of this on the ECM and compromise warranty? I already know I will get a CEL and there is no device out there yet that will clear these codes on startup.

Ive read that plugging the EGR back in and 3 key-starts will clear the CEL - does that apply also to the newer locked ECMs?

Does anyoine know ehere the DRL module is so I can check it? Or a circuit or fuse???:confused013:

Hi -
I was set on the 2009 Silverado 2500 (especially since they'll have a red tag again). I'm also drawn to the 2010 2500's. I was curious, since i'm new to Rams what people think the estimated price for a 2500 (let's say fully loaded) would be. Similar to Silverado's at $50k+?

Thanks

:confused013:OK. My battereies have been going bad so I had to drop by the stearlership this morning to have my battereies replaced because they finally had enough and I did not want to get stuck somewhere.

Well, I told the guy I just need the battereis replaced and while I'm here I might as well get the oil changed.

a few hours later my truck is ready, I read the ticket and they flashed my truck with the newest flash. I did not know they were going to do this so I lost my bullydog program that I had set.

Am I screwed? Is there anything I can do?

I was looking at getting an MP-8. Now is this completely plug and play or do I have to do anything else? And I want to keep my warranty for the time being so it also says you are supposed to be able to take it out and is not be traceable? Any thoughts or opinions on the MP-8?

ok guys... i just want to give kudos to H&S Performance .... Thank you Terence... I just received my DPF delete and downpipe from them, as well as the EGR delete and the Black Maxx tuner....

Guys, while it doesnt take much to make an EGR delete kit, the workmanship is top notch on this... its definately good quality.... and as for the tuner, all the wiring, the EGT probe, the software and even a flash card and flash drive adaptor is included... I cant wait to get everything installed and up and running...

I highly recommend these parts for anyone who may be looking...
