BAD BAD Paint job

Well my truck got hail damage a few months back and insurance repainted everything except the tailgate and front bumper. It has a new roof panel and I added a SRT hood while it was in for new paint. Problem is that I picked up the truck tonight and looking at it in my garage under regular light the paint sucks. The bumper that they didn,t paint has a new 8"scuff plus a scuff in the rear door that I showed them already and they are going to buff but what I didn,t notice is that the whole truck has debris in the paint(like 25-30 on hood alone) and one spot of terrible orange peel. So my question is this can debris spots be removed and spot fixed? I understand that is a hard question to answer without seeing it but I guarantee I could have painted that hood myself better with princess auto equipment plus the hood has runs both sides. The rest of the truck is not much better and whoever did the so called detailing it today should have checked there wrag because it scratched the whole truck. This was a $11500 repair bill at a dodge dealer. I am going to go back down there first thing in the morning and see what they will do about it but they already had my truck since oct 19th untill today nov18 and this is the crap that I get back on my $55000 truck. I honestly feel sick when I look at it. Any advice from someone that does bodywork.

I had a blow out on my right rear last Thursday that left the bed behind the the wheel pretty beat up, hit hard enough to egg shape my exhaust. Pretty big dent and it will need some straitening on the bottom.

My dad had an auto/body shop for several years so I should have the tools and guidance to take care of it, not sure what extent to go to though. How much would paint run to cover it up? I'm almost considering just fixing it hitting it with primer for now since there are a few other small dents I would like to get out, and eventually repaint the truck.

How much would it take/cost to do the whole bed? I'm assuming I would never get a perfect match, but I don't think it is now anyway since it was converted to a short bed.

Truck is silver, so I think having it fixed and primed would look better than it is. :confused013:

Thanks

Blending paint necessary??

Alright, so I messed up the door on my truck and am needing to get the one I purchased painted. The truck is maroon, the door I bought is red. I was going to go to O'Reilly and get a quart of their color match and shoot the door. Would I be able to tell I did it if I weren't to blend it with the back door and fender? Trucks paint is in very good shape, but being an 01 I know it has to be faded.

Planning on doing a base clear with O'Reilly color match, not sure the brand of paint they sell, but I think they offer several, Ill check tomorrow.

Pretty competant in my ability to paint, and you gotta try sometime eh? Would I be recomended to blend the panels??

THANKS,
Andrew

Thanks.

Well recently my son graduated from Lincoln Technical College for Collision Repair and Refinishing Technician. Well gave him my 91 chevy extended cab and did not expect this type of workman ship and attention to detail I was presented. Here is some of his work. I am very proud. So any shop in Dallas Texas looking to give a kid a break at their shop let me know.
