Ok so yesterday i was on the dyno, and i have big problems. 4 weeks ago i put on a set of 362/475 twins. I'm getting 70 psi total 35 of which is from the primary, on stock sticks. Also egts have to be through the roof(forgot to look at the gauge up high) Cylinder 5-6 were glowing bright red on the manifold, 70 psi was without the water meth on because it will give me another 5 psi and can't keep boots on, keeps blowing them apart. TST is on 8-5 rail on 4. Wastegate has been checked and checked its good, opens at 30 psi total. On the street without anything on i see 30 psi total and 12-15 of that is from the primary. Is that normal pretty much a 1:1 ratio on the twins, whats with the egts, and why so much boost with stock sticks? At this point the dream of an s480 is a joke, i would need something way bigger to keep this thing from spooling so much and temps down. and adding the flux 3.5's like i want would be asking for a melted something. Whats going on here?:confused013:

I bought me a used Smarty and it's got the TNT software on it and I really want to run a lower horsepower setting than 100 so I wanted to just download the regular REVO software. I downloaded the software and the driver (I think) and the driver says the software I downloaded isn't a smarty file so it doesn't work... Can andybody help me out with this?

exhaust and general performance upgrade question

I have a 2003 dodge 2500 4x4 diesel crew cab short bed, which now needs to have the exhaust system replaced. the truck and engine are completely stock. I have recently gotten a larger boat (28') and the truck is now laboring a little to pull it around. Gas milage (without towing the boat) is 15.2 city, which could be better it seems.

So I need an exhuast system and I would like some suggestions thinking that I will also install a perforamce chip of some sort (display?) to get some extra power. Or what other items make sense to replace so I do not harm the engine. i am also quesitoning if there is an increased noise level with these performance exhuast systems? as it looks like a straight flow exhast pipe? thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated
thanks for your time, Steve

Running Smarty TNT #7 without an upgraded fuel system. Replacing mine with an AD or FASS 150 is going to do what exactly? I'm looking to be educated, not ridiculed. Also, what are the benefits of upgrading my injectors? I have a stock turbo and can't afford one right now, but I do watch my egt's like a hawk. I have no fuel gauges so I don't know what's going on other than boost and egt's. Just seeing what my next upgrade should be and recommendations on any particular products. I want to dyno my truck soon and would like to be in the 450-475 club. Please anyone, please educate me further and don't be afraid to lay it down in layman's terms. :) Thanks...

Alright, getting tired of the check engine light now that the temps have dropped, comes on when the outside temps are low and its tripping the light because I removed the grid heater. I think I saw a thread a while back about a resistor to put in between the wires on the solenoid? Cant find it though:o

ok i looking into getting a 05/06 standerd cab dually is there any problems with 05/06 trucks that i should be aware of? and im wondering what would be a good all around chip/tunner for it.. i gonna put a intake and exhaust and gauges on it for mods and a tunner, so im wondering what would be a good all around chip/tunner.. im gonna be plowing snow and pulling my goose neck trailer around from time to time some times a heavy loaded trailer 20k but not often, and the occasional hot roding around town, so i wanna stay in the safe zone and and dont wanna get to moded up so it wont be reliable..so i was thinking like that smarty tunner.. aslo will i need to get a airdog or fass system if i have a tuner..and dose the 05/06s have high idle kick in automatically after like 2 mins or something or do u have to put in high idle on manually cuz i was thinking about putting in a remote start..thats y im wondering about the high idle.. im open to suggestions, so please voice yur opinions.. thanks
