$200 for turbo timer update??????

I heard from a guy here on Cummins Forum that he got a Turbo Timer upgrade for his 04.5 Edge Juice with Attitude for $50. I called Edge and they told me it would cost me $200! $200?! Then, another $100 for the Hot Unlock. $300 to update my $900 setup? Ouch! Then the guy from Edge told me that if I had my Attitude for less than 60 days, they would do the Turbo Timer for $50. Now wait a minute!!!! In the one year that I have had my Edge, and been a member of TDR, DTR, and CF, I have heard nothing about this turbo timer upgrade until yesterday. Why is this not advertised anywhere? I would have jumped on it on day one had I known it was available! Also, many other models of the Juice with Attutude come standard with turbo timer, fuel psi, and tranny temp. Why do I get shorted on my 04.5? Thanks for letting me vent!

I had a similar problem with edge where i called 3 times and the first 2 times they said that they don't even have turbo timers on most of there models. call the tech services line on there main number and talk with a tech they seem to know whats going on a little better than the sales side. it should only cost you $50 for the turbo timer and $100 for the hot unlock. i just got mine maybe 3 or 4 months ago. also the one i got back was different than the one i sent in, but i received a 30104 back that had the extra wiring for the timer

Mine has a turbo timer on it and it only works about once out of 100 times.

Do you happen to have the break pressed when you shut it off? Mine did the same thing and i realized i help the break when i shut it of and hitting the brake causes it to shut off.

on mine when it worked i had to tap the skinny pedal real quick and then it'd turn off or sometimes my turbo timer keeps my truck runnin even though its way below the timer set point so i have to pop my hood open and un-plug the module from the wiring harness then my engine shuts off...... its really kinda a pain so i just disabled the feature and just watch my egts before i turn it off

lol i just put it on a week ago and i was trying it out and i was like sweet this is cool and then when i hit the brake it shuts off incase you don't want it to run so i went to show someone and shut it off and it didn't work i was like wtf it just worked and then i figured out i was holding the brake when i shut it off. lol
