Edge Insight ???????????'s

Ok I installed just as it said to. Its not reading the other parameters. Everything else says N/A. How do you activate the others ? If anyone has this setup let me know how to or what page in the manual. I have the thermocouple kit but not installed yet. Do I need to restart the thing ? Hope someone can help me !

Specifically which parameters?

Not all of the listed parameters are available because the sensors don't exist on your truck.

Do you have all the sensors installed to read those parameters? If u only have it connected to you OBD port than your not going to get the Edge to read those without installing sensors.

So pretty much all the Insight is gonna do for me is the ECT and EGT on the parameter's.
Sure thought it was gonna read a few more than 2 of 'em. Other than that I like all the other things you can do with it. Like record diff stuff and store it on a computer and so on.

I heard that you needed to hook it up to your home PC and download updates b4 you install it. I'm going to do that to mine this weekend. I haven't installed it in the truck yet so I don't know what the difference will be.

the insight should be able to read everything the juice does.....and the juice reads
tranny temp
EGT w/ thermocouple of course
boost

shouldn't read fuel pressure.....I don't think there is a stock sensor for that.

Just wondering if you ever got your Insight to work on your truck? I recently purchased one and had the same problem - to resolve you need to download the software given to you onto a computer and hook the Insight to your computer to let it update and also so you can program it to Dodge/Chrysler specific parameters. Let me know if you have any other questions as I had plenty of time to play with it and know quite a bit about it.
