EZ edge issues

Hey guys, new to this forum and I got a question about my 01 dodge which i put an EZ edge module on.

The problem is that it seems to work intermittently, on my way to work theres a good hill to climb, one day it will do it in OD no problem, other times it has a hard time with it, reducing me to 4th gear just as it did when the engine was stock. It feels like the module simply turned off, the turbo is quieter, the engine seems to be working fine it just isn't as peppy as it is when the edge module is functioning. Is this a known issue with these modules? Is it possible a loose or dirty connection would cause this? It seems to act its worst when in cold temperatures. I've only had this module on since november from new.

any ideas?

I had the same problem with my 1st EZ, it was the module it self that was bad.next time it does it try pulling over and cycle the key, if it starts working i would say it is the module.

Wow....I just started to experience the exact same thing. I go over a pretty big hill to and from work and I noticed the same thing as you. Also it can be noticed from getting on the go pedal heavily from a dead stop, when the EZ is working it will throw the truck broadside in a heart beat, when it's not working it won't even spin the tires.

My EZ came on the truck when I bought it, and I've checked all the connections and everything is good. Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this though.

Only problem is Edge probably won't be able to help me out since it was on my truck when I bought it.

I have one as you it came with the truck and seems to be working fine at all times. then I have never disconnected it but the truck goes like crazy and I am not going to make any changes, did also come with a 120 hp adder I think by tst but I really don't need more power and what might come with that.
