No, the shift enhanser was designed for the 2005 - 2007 trucks that have no kickdown cables.

What is the issue you are trying to solve that you were wanting the shift enhanser for ? For your year there are different issues not necessarily addressed by simply adding a new VB as some believe. Electronic issues are common all of these dodges ,the solutions are not necessarily the same . Do you have a oem, aftermarket vb, the fixes again may differ based on this as well.

just the hunt between gears is what I want to take out! I will be putting a converter and Valve body in soon just wanted to add this to help out also. I dont know for sure but I was told some of the late 04.5's dont have the manual kickdown cable they are electronic, if this is true will the shift enhancer still work on my truck? To look and see if my truck has the cable its is located on the drivers side of the motor right?

Actuator trucks as far as i am aware are the 2005 - 2007 not the 04 1/2 .

The actuators are a bolt on item on the side of the tranny.

If you are experiencing hunting yours will be electronics and you need to get that fixed. A VB alone will not make that go away and it will damage the tranny if left the way it is .
