DTT CONSUMER FRAUD ALERT:

We have taken a few calls in the last bit of guys that thought they had purchased a DTT product. Unfortunately for a few of them it turned out that was not the case. We have been told it has been both on ebay and via website ads.

If any of you are looking to buy anything advertised as a DTT product call us first if we are not the ones selling it and we can verify it for you. We cannot help you after the fact. Our products are custom built and assembled based on profile sheets taken on trucks and they have serial numbers assigned to them. Even if purchased via a dealer of ours they have to give us the customer information for the product to be built and the name of who it is for, so we will still have the info on the item if it is re – sold . If we don’t have any records on it, chances are pretty good it is not ours.

The other thing to keep in mind is that we ship from our own US warehouse to all US bound customers. So it if is ours it leaves from there. Please don’t rely on paint color, or stall speed, or any generic info. as those have all been used to mis-lead customers in the past.

It is imperative that you guys verify this kind of stuff because tech support is provided based on profile sheets taken on the trucks and parts as applicable. We don’t want to see you guys end up with something other than what you paid for and us having no way to help you as we don’t even know who you are or what you got because it is not ours.

Be careful guys, all we can do is try and warn you that we have seen this happen and have no way to help you if we have no record of you.

Just watch out for any advertising where guys are using descriptions that allude to 89 % , steel stators, tc color or any old numers we had posted 3 or 4 years ago . That is all they have to use for comparison . We do not publish our number sequences as it is only relevant to our customers and us. We have even had someone send us a pic from an ebay add. We have made tremendous changes to our program and the new TC 's are are idendified by a 4 digit serial number only.

Our profile sheets dictate how they are built . We do the same with valve bodys as again they are custom units .

As tech support for our customers is provided on a profile sheet basis , it is pretty important to verify with head office if what you are intending on purchasing is genuine.
