A VB will help with or without the TC. It increases line pressure which help reduce/eliminate slippage. If you are mechanically inclined you can save some $$$$ by getting a DTT shift kit, then you get all the parts that we put in our kits just save because you do the labor.

PM with pricing on the way.

Would this shift kit give all the same benefits of your Valve bodies, ie lockup in 2nd etc. I tow heavy, will need a TC, VB and a full rebuild but also shy on coin at the time. Could you shoot me a price on the shift kit and details too? THX

any info on this Valve Body kit? How hard is it for a good mechanic to do in a home garage? I just did a filter and fluid change along with band adjustments but anything to help stock trans last longer would be great on a budget also as a college student.

thanks, TTT

We have lots of do-it yourself guys build there own HD Valve Body with this kit. The other nice part of both parties is not deal with core charges.

Stefan, unfortunately your response did not answer any of the questions that were asked. Inquiring minds want answers.

Shift kit will give you all the same benifits, the cost savings is because you are supplying the labor. Sorry I will get the pricing sent over, did you need the price on the rebuild kit or did you mean that you didn't want to do the rebuild kit?

Yes, I would like a PM on the pricing but also wanted to make sure it would allow 2nd gear lockup. Priorities have pushed back a new tranny for now. THX

i just installed DTT shift kit in my valve body, it's easy, it only needs a lot attention because there are so many small parts involved...

Is the HD Master kit a valve body only kit? If so that is what I am interested in. I didn't know there were two kits. It would be nice to know what each kit will provide as far as benefits and maybe a price for each. THX again
