Classifieds question

We are tying to keep the new classifieds cleaned up and thing we have started doing is "pruning" (removing)the threads over 3 months old. The question we have is this long enough to let an add run before it is automatically removed or do we need to let it run longer?

1) Three months
2) Four months
3) Six months

I think 4 months sounds good bro but what would be nice is to have like a check in time As in the poster of the selling item needs to get on atleast once a month and check in or it delets.. I dont know how High tech you guys can get but that might be something to try... but I think if not 4 months souns good then if they dont have it sold they can re post it..

The prune feature works off the date of the latest post not the original post date. If there are replies the clock starts over
