EDIT: I don't expect to be called by name or anything but when you come in they just rush around and say ok we'll call you or come in and get you thanks bye. talking 500 words a minute it just makes me nuts, like your just another person in there way.
My neighbor bought a pre-owned Volvo whose engine blew 2,000 miles over the warranty Volvo gives you on a used one. They quoted him $9300 for a replacement long block installed. A reputable independent dealer confirmed the diagnosis and got him a salvage yard one for a fraction. The neighbor sold it. I'm sure this is a fluke, but stuff happens out there.

Town& Country Chrysler Gladstone Or. has done well by me for service on my '05.
Took it in on a sensor code problem and they replaced the camshaft sensor within 2 hrs on warranty.
Jessica in warranty dept. took care of powertrain warranty transfer issue, very helpful.

clean shop, clean techs- no greasy paw prints on everything.
they put down cover papers on interior

ask for Lance, service rep.

I ended up having bad service at my last visit. Well, not bad, per se, but not what I expected at all. My truck has an intermittent fuel issue that started not long after installing the Walbro lift pump - my FP drops to 0! Anyroad, I took her (since I work at one of the affiliate dealerships) to the Dodge shop, and they didn't even do a real diagnostic. Saw the aftermarket fuel lines and told me my problem is the lift pump is bad (???!!!) and that I need to replace all the aftermarket parts with stock and it'll run fine again honestly, where's the fun in stock parts?! I could't outrun one of the service advisors' Super Duty if my truck was stock!

I took my '05 2500 Ram diesel truck for 2 leaks. One was the steering box leaking which they replaced under warranty, but the other leak was ATF4 leaking down from the top of the tranny. I told the service adviser that I thought it was probably just the breather which was no big deal. I mean the fluid never leaks enough to make it to the driveway. They came back and told me the pan gasket was leaking. It just pissed me off that they can't see that fluids leak down not up. They put a pan gasket on and it still has the same problem.

Layton Hills in LAyton, Utah sucks. I had to tell service manager about a certain TSB(he ddint even bother to look up). Then proceded to tell me that its $120 to hook up and even see if its appliccable. FINALLY they did work under warranty after much bickering and not much "satisfaction motivation" on there part.
Then, truck was at body shop. dropped it off while i was out of town. Called me to pick up truck. looked at it before i went in, half the work they billed me for wasnt even complete!!!! then for some reason Im out of line for being pi$$ed because their admin people dont review work while doing bills. Picked truck up again and the installer busted my vent visors up and still installed em and i guess hoped i didnt see it. Then, once again Im somehow out of line for expecting good repairs for my $$$.
Dodge customer service is ABSOLUTELY CRAP!!!!!. I bought a used Hyuandai Sonata for 1/4 of the price of my 05 dodge and their service is amazing!!!! One highlight, the body shop manager at Ken Garff was great, kinda felt bad for him running around and correcting all the BS that happened.

ive had two different experiences... one in Orfino, ID and the other in my hometown in San Jose... Hartziem Dodge.

Orfino was as good as it could, got worked on twice there, the first one was replacing my lift pump and injection pump. they put a FASS HP lift pump in instead of the stock one, but everything cost me 3,200 but it was good customer service and you actually talk directly to the guys who work on the truck.

Hartziem is a whole different story....

they dont know how to work on diesels it seems to me. I had my truck in there to get a new ECM which cost me 2 G's and when i went to go pick it up on a friday they couldnt get it started to bring it up front. So they kept if for the weekend and told me they would call me when they figured it out.... they didnt call me. i had to call them and when they finally called me back they tell me i need a new injectioin pump, and told me that they would give me a deal for 1700 i dont believe them. so i go and do my own research (cummins forum) and find out to spray a little bit of starting fluid cause the vp44 could have a vapor lock and the starting fluid cranks the engine over and unlocks the vp.... so i walk in to the stealership with my own can of starter fluid and ask for one guy to help crank the engine over.. i get it started but check engine light is on, and i call gus and he tells me its a problem communicating with the ecm. so i have to leave it at the stealership longer. so the next week they tell me that my truck went through 2 brand new ecms and finally the third one worked. so they had my truck for a month and all it needed was a new ECM Which maybe takes a few days. i told them i dont think i should pay for labor because it took them so long to fix it. but the service manage fed me some mumbo jumbo BS and told me that the problem was going to lead back to my IP. i was so fed up with them and missed my truck so much i just didnt want to deal with them and i gave up and left. I tried calling the owner of the dealership but never got a call back... i dont plan on going back to that one

But major props for Orfino.

Our dealer once changed the oil and then lost the fill cap and did not want to pay for the replacement. They did. Then they drained the rear end and forget to fill it back up. Lucky my dad checks that kind of stuff before he leaves the dealer. Fortunately they have changed management since than cause they were horrible.

Oh, I'll buy another dodge, but not for the Dodge as much as the engine in it. I have had pretty crappy service from a dealer in Anchorage (way too long a story to get into) and the one in Great Falls, Montana. I have had GREAT service from Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg, Idaho. I wish all dealers treated the customer as well.

I took my truck to get an oil change and apparantly the guy couldn't count to twelve. He put like an extra 2 quarts of oil in. Didn't bother to cover the seats up either when he got in. I figured the dealer would know how to change the oil. Now i expect the quick lube places to screw up but not the dealer. Looks like I'll be changing my own oil from now on.:CRY
