Think about it, any manufacturing company, not just automotive relies on aftermarket parts sales. Their not going to recommend something that going to add life. all they care is if it makes it past their warranty period..Cummins has no say in the 6.7L. any CTD once it's in dodges hands...

I voted yes because I run a bottle of Diesel Kleen every oil change to try and keep the injectors cleaner. I don't do it every tank for lubricity or cetane boost.
I tried to edit the poll for more options like you suggested, but either my brain stopped workingor it wont allow it...NIGHTSHIFT SUCKS

I used additives last winter pretty religously just cause i didnt want to be stuck at Snowshoe trying to find someone to help in like 3 feet of snow. I didnt use any this winter till i noticed it was running rough on colder morning even being plugged in so i ran some. it did help i think i may have had just a little bit of water in the fuel but its all good now.

I put in a little Howe's diesel fuel treatment every fill. Mostly cause I run a lot of rig fuel and never know whats in there. I do it cause I get it (Howe's) for free and figure it can't hurt.

Yes

I do use an additive. I feel it helps to protect injectors from stopping up, quiet the engine, somewhat, improve starting and possibly increase milage because it has slick diesel in it AND it makes me feel better knowing it`s in there . A little bit every tank fillup.

i use a cetane booster (power service) just because i've recently been running Jet-A. With the additive i can't tell a difference between jet-A and diesel. makes it even better that the Jet-A is FREE!

Full 16oz bottle of Marvel Mystery oil, and 1/2 of the 32 oz bottle of Power service. Why? because it keeps my CP3 alive until I get the new one in..

Why do I need a new one? January 2011 I gelled over in -20F temperature in Northern Nevada. I had been running Power Service winter additive, but I ran out of what I had stocked up for the trip. Where I had to fill up in Idaho, they didn't have any. So I chanced it and lost. Pulling up a pass heading south, -20F on the overhead, she started to jerk. RP dropped, was misfiring like a mofo. The CP3 took the hit.

Past: 2008 Ram 2500 6.7. Stock camshaft (easier to list what was still stock)
