I voted for CAT stacks... I am probably going to end up with dual 8" flat black CAT's ... Although the debate between 7 and 8 is on going as well at flat black or gloss lol... I think tho 8" Flat is in the lead for me..... I have searched LOTS of pictures so I can make the debate easier on me but it's not... One picture of a 8" CAT stack makes it look too big (from the side) and then another 8" stack picture make's it look just right.. Man I hate not being able to go to the store to check them out in person...

I am thinking 8" because my truck sits pretty damn high for a DD.. So I think that because of the added height (top of box like 5'5" or 65") that the 8" would just like right because it looks a lot bigger rolling beside a normal sized pickup (even most of the lifted ones I pass as look small)...

For those stack haters...

1) My box has no use for any type of big loads, it's way to high to be of use for anything major (or on a daily basis).. So stacks will not be preventing use of the box, height of the truck does

2) I am not a wanna be "trucker" , I am a trucker so that statement doesn't apply here .... In fact because I am getting CAT stacks they are on heavy equipment, oh ya I am also a heavy equipment operator as well .. I guess that would explain my obsession of getting stacks on my truck..

3) I have always wanted a lifted diesel truck with stacks.. Well I got the lifted diesel now I need stacks... Who knows maybe they will get annoying later on but that won't stop me, if they end up being that loud then I will remove them and put stock exhaust back on.. Keep the stacks for later use when truck is not DD.. I think with a resonator tho from the sounds of it they will not be bad.. BTW I have 5" exhaust with magnaflow muffler currently which was louder then another 6.7 with straight back 5" exhaust no muffler..

4) This is the best reason.. I'm the ONLY person who needs to like them.. I don't need to impress anyone else.. I do things for myself and my enjoyment.. Not anyone else..
