I like the sound and looks of my 97 over my03HO but the 03 rides so nice on long trips,also like the rear doors.

2000 with 185,000 miles (some hard towing with 28 foot enclosed car trailer) and so far only a trans rebuild. Trans went out at 167,000 after all my friends said it wouldnt make it to 100,000 Guess what? Their F250's have been in the trans shops numerous times!!!

2001 now, had a 93 first.

2001 Dodge Cummins,SLT Laramie, 2500 Auto, 4X4 Quad Cab LB, just recently installed vulcan pusher pump kit, a big plus. Amsoil all the way with remote oil filter and by-pass filter(Amsoil dealer), Walbro 392 lp. Rebuilt VP44 @ 73000 mi. Banks exhaust brake.

92!!! no emission crap at all!!! no computers and dumb sensors to deal with!!! its great!!! runs forever!!! but i love all the cummins!!! this older truck doesn't ride the best though...

I miss my '98 12valver and currently have to settle for a late '01 (with disc brakes all around). IMHO those are the two best "years", in that sequence.
