i had a 97 ctd and now i have a 96 also 1 4x4 thats gonna be lifted with 36's and has 4.10's and my 96 is 2wd and gonna be lowered with 3.54's im trying to get 30mpg on the highway with it, the previous owner said he was getting 25,26 and he was going to north carolina ever 2 weeks to work on his house and thats a 1000miles one way so i think he would know. but its bone stock except for a 4" exhaust right now, i plan on adding ddp stage 1's and a full afe pro dry intake and 15.5* to acheive near 30mpg on the highway hope it works.
